What is First Friday in the West Bottoms?
Make a note of it on your calendar! Every month on the first Friday, thousands of residents and visitors flock to Kansas City’s 12th Street Bridge District to enjoy what has become the city’s most dynamic and popular event: #firstfridayskc. Our community comes alive as local, regional, national, and international artists are featured in the district’s arts organizations, galleries, studios, and a wide range of businesses. Visit our exciting new antique stores and resturaunts across the Bottoms.
We see thousands of people every first weekend of every month, rain or shine. The live music, bars, and shops run between 9am-5pm Friday-Sunday. The theme for each event is different for every month. We hope you make your way down to our First Fridays events.

Where Do I Park?
Parking is located to the left and right of the 12th St Bridge. We have multiple lots around the event all with easy access to the main street. We suggest getting to the events early and to use the parking spaces located next to The Edge of Hell Haunted house. You will see our parking tenants awaiting your arrival. We highly suggest not using the city self pay parking as our security does no patrol that area.

What sort of events happen in the West Bottoms?
The West Bottoms has been on the rise with huge development in all industries. From amateur and pro boxing events, to live music, and festivals including the famous Boulevardia. Events like these continuously attract large crowds for years now, not to mention the new Hy-Vee Arena located minutes away, and new development for a new river side entertainment district.
